For Jay Cassario, 2012 has been a roller coaster.  With the death of his mother on New Years Day, it wouldn't be long before Jay and his wife Sandi decided it was time to turn a passion for photography into a business and there's been no turning back.  With a grand sense of adventure, this creative duo took a huge leap and have found the journey of building a business not without challenge but the response has been overwhelming.  Perhaps they will have time in the near future to reflect on what an amazing year of discovery this has been but for now, Cass Imaging is busy with bookings of engagement shoots, kids and families and upcoming weddings well into 2013.

Their dedication to the art and their often unexpected and unique styles have made this business venture a success; a reward for the risk takers, for those that follow an instinct, for those that find a way out of grief.

But it's not all portraits and events.  Jay has had an eye for photography and a love for the craft for years.  His work has been widely solicited in the world of photojournalism and his creative approach to each subject can be seen in his body of work.

What is perhaps most gratifying is bringing that wickedly sharp sense of composition and timing to a client and capturing their most precious memories with the same dedication and quality and this is a great reason to visit Cass Imaging while you are strolling through the fest.  FAF will be presenting a handful of photographers, like Jay and Sandi, that bring the art of photography to everyday clients so don't go to the run of the mill studio for your portraits; choose an artist.  Invest in art.  The fest is a great time to book a shoot, buy a gift certificate for a holiday gift or find your wedding photographer.  Do you want magazine quality images of yourself, of your family, of your event?

Cass Imaging is a great place to look.
